The first thing I noticed was how my voice sounds weird recorded. It does not sound like me. I thought I had a deeper voice. My reading was a little fast. It seemed like I was rushing the reading. I don't think I sounded like I was distracted, I made sure the reading was the only thing I was focused on.
This reading sounds different from how other readings usually go for me. The reading was a little tough, I even stopped half way through to say "This reading is kind of hard." I stumbled on a couple of words, and had to read them over again. I really don't like how I sounded, my voice and how fast I was reading, just did not seem like me. I need to slowdown.
Nobody ever sounds how they think they do - it's always very weird to hear our own voices recorded, because we're hearing them without hearing the vibrations that the sound of speaking produces in our skulls (that's why we always think our voices sound deeper than they do).
