Articles: Staffordshire Gold Hoard, These May Be The Droids Farmers Are Looking, For Inside the Business of Selling Human Body Parts

These three articles have different three different ways of writing.  The article that held my attention the most was the "Business of Selling Human Body Parts." The way the author added pieces that you have to click on to read more about them. This way of writing made it more hands on to get the information and made it fun to read.

The way these articles differ from the articles we read in our text book, is that the articles in the text book are mostly written for professors in the field of English. These articles that we just read are based in different fields other than English and didn't seem to be written for professors rather they seemed to be for a magazine.

The reason I think these pieces are more interesting is because they are not about English or writing. Even the article about history was interesting, I would not write my paper like that but the information was good. These pieces are more accessible for a popular audience because certain people have interest in the things that these articles were about.

Research paper and sources

I actually cannot remember a time when I had a research paper with sources that I could not work with.  I has been a long time since I was in school and this is only my second semester of College so someday it could happen to me.  I do have a couple of research papers due next week on the 22nd of November.  So maybe it will happen to me this week as I finish the two research papers I am doing.

Reading Rose

Reading Rose

Question #2
As a writer I have heard the rule that you need to write your introduction or first paragraph before you write your paper.  I usually write my introduction last so I know exactly what I want it to say. Another rule as a writer I choose to ignore is using “and” at the beginning of a sentence. If it works there then use it.
Question #3
The rule to start off with a great first paragraph is a good rule but it could also stump you from moving on to the rest of your writing.  I feel you can always come back and make your first paragraph better after you know what you have already wrote in you paper.
